12/6/11 - Sampuso’s Almost Acoustic Christmas <3

As the semester came to a close, so did Fall term for Sampuso. We had such a great semester and we all feel we could’ve done so much more! For me, i’m glad i did board. It has taught me things i would never even think i’d learn. But yeah, for those that came to our mini banquet, did ya’ll have a good time?? We had great performers such as Rayson&Jason, Arby, and Vincent.

11/11/11 - Tita Violette & Tito Jun’s Anniversary Party!

If you don’t already know, Tita Violette was the one who taught Sampuso’s PCN dancers, the Carinosa & Singkil dances. She really did work super hard to come down and teach us. In return, we decided to say another thank you by performing at her wedding anniversary party! What an amazing performance ;P<3 Wouldn’t you agree? Hehe, PCN is next semester. Aren’t you excited? Everything is in the works right now! 0o0o0o0oh~~~ Can’t wait!

10/25/11 - Kuya, Ate, Ading Reveal

Kuya(or Ate) is a filipino term used as a sign of respect to an older male (or female) relative such as a brother (or sister), cousin, or family friend. Last semester, Sampuso started a KAAP of it’s own (i believe) to bring it’s members closer together and create families within the club. I think it was a success.. people seemed to have grown close and stuffs. Wouldn’t you agree that receiving an ate, kuya, or ading is a great honor? (‘: Hehe, i love it! How we did the reveal was that we put balloons all over the room. The balloon was labeled with an ading and inside the balloon was a piece of paper with the name of their kuya or ate.  It was so fun/cute seeing people’s faces light up :3 After the meeting, we all relocated to Chuck E. Cheese’s to bond with our new siblings. Played some games, ate some pizza, & took those silly sketchy pictures ;P 

Come out to Pierce Sampuso’s next general meeting on Filipino Historic Struggles this Tuesday at 3pm @ BEH1310! Hope to see you there! 1<3
